Space and materials

KunstKeller is located in the basement of a city villa in a quiet location in Berlin Lichterfelde with an access to the garden. The large and bright rooms offer various possibilities for artistic and art therapeutic work in a relaxed atmosphere. Different artistic materials and tools for two- and three-dimensional techniques are available, such as various drawing materials (pencils, crayons, felt-tip pens, and chalk), different colors (acrylic, guasch and watercolors), brushes, painting bases, clay and different collage materials. A large painting wall also allows for large-scale works and body-sized creations.

Initial meeting

At the beginning of the art therapeutic individual or group work is a conversation to mutual acquaintance. It is a non-binding and free of charge first meeting for the collection of the therapeutic anamnesis and for the therapy agreement.

The fee will be determined in the initial consultation, depending on the type of offer. In general, the cost for individual therapy is 80€ for 90 minutes and for group therapy with 4 participants 35€ per participant for 120 minutes. Material costs are included and are only additional by agreement for certain projects.
Art therapy costs in independent practices are not covered by public health insurance. If you are privately insured or have a supplementary insurance for alternative practitioners, please check with your insurance company in advance to find out what costs are covered for art therapy treatment.

Current rules during the pandemic

Art therapy appointments may take place under appropriate protective measures during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Please do not come to the office if you are having typical symptoms or have become a contact person. The practice rooms have a separate climate control system and are ventilated on a regular basis. In the practice, you are requested to wear a mouth-nose mask and to disinfect your hands before the start of the session.  The number of participants in group settings is limited to a maximum of 3 people.
